For over 135 years, Salem First Baptist Church has been a beacon of faith, hope, and Christian fellowship in Salem, Arkansas.
Our History
Salem First Baptist Church was established on February 13, 1887. Over the decades, the church has met in several locations across Salem before settling at our present campus at 552 Highway 62 East.
A lot has changed in Fulton County and the world since 1887, but the Church's desire to reach people with the good news of the Gospel remains unchanging in a very changing world.

Who We Are Today
As Southern Baptists, we hold to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
Gospel Centered
We hold to the teachings of the Bible, which is God's inerrant and infallible Word. The Gospel message of salvation in Christ alone is central to all our preaching and teaching.
Family Oriented
We cultivate a warm environment where children, youth, singles, young adults, parents, and seniors grow together in Christian love and community.
Community Focused
We serve our neighbors in Salem and Fulton County while staying passionately engaged in regional, national, and international missions.
