A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, John was called into the ministry, after seven years of service to his country. In addition to his present pastorate in Salem, he has served the Lord in two towns in Arkansas, Viola and St. Francis. In his 28 years of ministry, he has overseen the construction of two new churches and the remodeling of another. During his pastoral years, he has also been a part of the medical and evangelism team in three missionary trips to Brazil.
He received his college degree, a Bachelors of Arts in Pastoral Ministry, at Williams Baptist College, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and has earned hours towards a Masters degree at Luther Rice Seminary.
John’s outside interests include reading, golfing and, most of all, spending time with family, especially his beautiful grandchildren.
